Can i turn my auto car to a standard?

i have a 92 3000gt sl and its an auto rite now, and i wanted to make it a standard, this is my first car and i'm planning on tuning the hell out of it.
i just want to know what will i need and how much it would cost?

it is possible just have to have a good bit of money and alot of mechanical knowledge. Youd have to buy a new ECU, and transmission. Youd have to get a clutch pedal assembly and put a new shifter in. Youd have to find out what electrical differences there are to the motor from a standard and an automatic. Its very complicated unless you already have the motor and tranny broken down and out and have money for a new ECU and transmission. I wouldnt do it to a car that was running. I drag race an 87 mustang GT and if your looking for speed an automatic is better you just have to have it tuned up too. Get some clutches put in it, and a shift kit, and a bigger stall and its better than a automatic. I changed my GT from a standard to an automatic but i also changed it from fuel injected to carbureted. A fuel injector motor has alot more electrical issues that syncs the motor and transmission and all other aspecs.
