Flex Pkg
what's a reasonable price to ask for these used vehicles? NO I'm not trying to dump one cause of gas prices...
I could afford gas just fine if I wasn't spending over $1,000/mo on payments & insurance! my ex left me stuck with both so I need to get rid of one. my problem is I'm upside down on both loans and with gas prices like they are no one wants to buy anything larger than 4 cylinders (both are V6). the only reason they have so many miles on them is they each had ~20k miles when I bought them used from the dealership. anyway, I have:
2005 Ford Explorer XLT, sunroof, 3rd row seat, towing pkg, satellite radio, 6 CD in dash player/changer, roof rack, leather interior, running boards, power driver seat, 4x4, flex fuel, ~62k mi
2006 Chrysler 300 Touring, leather interior, heated seats, dual power seats, alloy wheels, ~50k mi
Blue Book says: $13k for Explorer (owe $15k), $14k for Chrysler (owe $22k)
been telling people I want $12 for Explorer but no takers yet. I don't want to lose to much $ so I'd rather sell that than the car. what do you think would be reasonable to ask for each?
I think you are using the best source to determine the price. I usually use KBB.com less about 10%. So a 13,000 KBB.com price means I would list it for $11,700. $12,000 is close enough.
