There are many forms of hoses used around the world today. Some of the most common are garden hoses and fire hoses. The cleaning process can propel objects from the surface being cleaned, also at great velocities. water softener,has galvanized pipes, used flexible hose with bronze fittings, galvanic reaction a problem?

galvanized pipes up water softener and I'm using stainless braided flexible hose with bronzed fittings (I think) will galvanic reaction be problem (2 dissimiliar metals and some salt water)

Two solutions:
- use dielectric unions between the galvanized iron pipe and the stainless steel hoses,
- use a 6" (or longer) hard brass pipe nipple between the galv iron pipe and SS hoses.
