Benefits of Laptop Repair Training

You're putting in time on your chosen project of interest, whether it be gaming or general internet user interaction, and then your laptop just dies.

I've been there, more than a few times unfortunately, and before I actually dismantled the laptop, I considered myself a rather computer savvy hardware repair person. And, I should have considering how much time I spent in vocational college learning everything I could possibly learn in three-and-a-half years.

But, once I got the laptop apart I realize they were nothing more than one large integrated motherboard. I knew that it would be different than your typical full-size personal computer, but I had no idea that it was going to be so complex.

I had imagined small parts that were connected by small IDE cables, SCSI, SATA cables, or even some type of infrastructure that allowed the devices to plug directly into the bus; however, it was simply a large circuit board where everything was just...connected.

I was lost.

So, I salvaged what I could with keeping the RAM sticks and the hard drive (which I just simply plugged into my external hard drive bay suited for both sizes of hard drives). Although, the rest of my pieces at the time were sent out the very next week with discarded boxes of my ill-chosen fast-food feasts.

After that, a few weeks later, a friend of mine recommended a tutorial that showed exactly how to repair nearly any problem with my laptop. Unfortunately, the timing was off and my laptops that I had previously owned were sent away with burger wrappers

But, I knew exactly where I could find some other out-of-date and unused laptop were that I could try my newfound skills out on.

I must say, that I was more than impressed on the information that I had learned and that I now had turned a couple of dead laptops into two new computers that I could either sale, or use as backups for the many different projects that span multiple computers.

where can i get the right training to become a computer repair/technician?

i want to be able to train at home and be certified.

Well.... like me, crashed my computer, asked friends, looked up on the book for solution, built my own pc & help others to fix theirs .... at the time I learn it, internet was at early age,... but now you could turn to google for any questions, lots of genius could help you with it. Just install, reinstall and reinstall again & again. Just do it as a hobby.

If you look for training for computer technician, look for A+ training or A+ book, it will cover both hardware & software part. I also recommend you to register for any MCSE and CCNA classes, lots of them offer at community colleges (it's cheaper compare to vocational schools). Like me, I got mine trainings after graduated from Cal State Univ. of Fresno in Computer Science.

Just be patience and focus....
