2002 Chevy Trialblazer Service Recommendations?

Have an '02 Trailblazer w/ 99,000 miles. Bought it used w/ 42,000. Have kept up w/ reg. oil changes, filters & such. Any thoughts on 100,000 mile service?

this is always a tricky question. I have seen cars that have rarely had anything changed or replaced go over 200k and run like new. Of course murphys law says that once the vehicle is out of warranty, everything breaks. The things I would do now (and its not cheap, but cheaper than what some recommend), is having the radiator flushed, the transmission fluid checked (take it to a transmission place, some local places will just flush it, and that can actually hurt the transmission if its been too long since the fluid was last changed, if you feel the need ask for a "gravity drain" and refill.) Have the hoses checked, especially if this is an outdoor sitting car. I would replace the belts. On the trailblazers, I would not replace the timing belt/chain. These do not have problems with it, if it aint broke dont mess with it. (if you look on forums they say to change it because some cars have problems with them breaking and can ruin an engine, trailblazer isnt one of them) and you will want to replace the sparkplugs if they have not been replaced. although its probably not necessary, it will help gas milage.
